What you are about to read could save you hundreds of dollars on your next vacation to Big Bear, California.

The world-class Big Bear ski resort near San Bernardino, California is composed of two excellent ski slopes and a rustic mountain town perched at 7,000 feet above sea level, on the shore of an incredibly scenic, blue lake.

Everyone in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the rest of Southern California often thinks fondly about Big Bear. It is the only ski resort in Southern California, and no one has every thought of opening up a second one. They got the recipe just right when the put the amazing little town of Big Bear together, and between the shopping, skiing, boating, and nightlife, there’s something for everyone do to in Big Bear.

Unfortunately, I’m really not trying to boast on Big Bear here… I mean this as problem statement, not a sales pitch!

All of this popularity in a small town has led to one undeniable conclusion: It’s getting crowded in Big Bear.

It used to be that if you wanted to stay in a big bear cabin during ski season (November through April) it was a wise precaution to book ahead, paying in advance.

Now it’s almost necessary to do so, and even in the summertime you may need to do so too!

This has also led to price inflation year-round, so many people from Southern California have been forced to vacation elsewhere instead in recent years. Or even if they did go to
