Serrano Campground on Big Bear lake
Serrano Campground is one of Big Bear’s
largest campgrounds, with RV hookups, showers, and everything
else a family needs. Located smack-dab on the middle of Big
Bear lake’s north shore, this large campground is well
patrolled by rangers and even offers handicap facilities.
You can use beautiful Serrano
campground as your base of operations for staying in big bear,
as you easily walk to restrooms, fishing, watersports, and even
the excellent Big Bear Discovery Center, about 10 minutes’ walk
eastward of Serrano.
You’ll have your choice of boat
launches nearby, the one to the East of Serrano campground is a
little closer than the west boat dock.
One other excellent sight to see
within walking distance is the world-class Solar Observatory,
located at the end of the nearby pier, directly on the water
facing the town.
The Serrano Campground on Big
Bear lakes’ north shore is open April 1st through November
30th. It is closed during the wintertime for obvious reasons.
It is usually very easy to get a spot mid-week, but during the
weekends you may want to play it safe and make a reservation.

$34 per day with hookups
$48 per day for a double
sized-site
The number of RV Sites at Serrano
campground is 112. 29 have full hookups, another 14 with water
only. The maximum stay permitted is 14 days, & although
there are no tent pads, every site comes with a Table and a
grill.
