Question: Hotel Reservation please help!!!!?

i was wondering if i can make a hotel reservation if i dont have a drivers license or an I.d can i still get a room with any other type of i.d? IN CALIFORNIA LIKE IN BIG BEAR TO RENT A CABIN…….. please serious answers only will appreciate it!!! thank you in advance 10 points for the best answer!!!

Answer: I worked at a hotel about 2 1/2 yrs. ago. It was a rule to get ID’s from guests except for guest we already knew or that were in the system already.

My boss had a rule that when any young kids came to get a room, we had to have their ID especially if they were paying cash. That way if they had a party we would at least have one persons information on file to charge for any vandalism.

Now if you do not have a State ID or a drivers license, what kind of ID do you have? A Military ID may be ok, also possibly a Credit Card with the picture on it. I know some credit card companies are doing that now. Or just go to the DMV and get a state ID it only takes like 20 minutes and $5.00 i think.

try calling the hotel and stating your problem….but i believe that they are going to tell you that someone who is registering needs to have an ID. maybe if you are going with someone have him/her register instead of you.
