Question: Nice hotels in southern california?
Hi, im looking for a hotel to stay just a few nights in during winter vacation. I would like to go somewhere to the snow, like big bear, but i couldn’t find any nice, romantic hotels around there. If you could give me any suggestions of a nice winter trip I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your answers!
Answer: Can’t guarantee you’ll get snow, but Big Bear is the best place to stay.
What’s wrong with the North Woods Inn? That’s pretty nice, and right in the middle of town, close to the lake, etc.
Big Bear doesn’t have a lot of hotels per se, but a lot of motels, cottages, and many many condos. That, IMHO, is the way to go. We rented a nice cozy condo a number of times in the Big Bear area, and had a great stay. A condo is muy romantico, much better than a hotel.
