slipknot – i am hated

Question: I’m looking for a mountain (creek, lake, brook) getaway to escape LA for a few days. Idyllwild, Big Bear…?

Looking for some recommendations on cabins or lodging in the woods with some form of water running nearby and a porch for coffee and wine. I live in LA and need a break! Only 2-3 nights and I need a kitchen. Thanks.
