The Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park (aka ZOO) is operated by the San Bernardino Parks & Recreation in Big Bear Lake. The FOMZ (Friends of the Moonridge Zoo) is working toward evolving the Zoo to become the San Bernardino County Big Bear Zoological Park.
What is the opening hours of the Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park?
The Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park is open year round. From June to August, the Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park is open daily from 10am to 5pm. From September to May, the Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
How much is the Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park ’s admission?
Admission to the Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park is $5 for adults and children age 11 and over. Admission is $4 for Children age 3 to 10 and seniors (60+). Children under 3 years old get in for free. Parking around the Big Bear Zoo or Moonridge Animal Park is about $5 for a few hours.
