Question: People in Southern California…Where do you fish that is good for kids too?

I can’t find a good place to fish that is safe for kids in southern california. I need a good safe fishing dock for my kids because I have three kids. I don’t like the high piers. Please make your best suggestions? Prefer Lake Settings, Please! South Of L.A. from Riverside to San Diego and out to Big Bear would be good.
I live at Lake Perris, Its all angled shore fishing and off the dam. Looking for those large floating docks where you can set up chairs and if they fall in the water..its 2 feet away.

Answer: When I was stationed in Cali,I liked fishing at Lake cuyamaca(Can’t remember the spelling there).It’s located just south of Julian.I loved going there.It’s make a nice time for the whole family.There’s no docks there but plenty of shore line to fish from.
