Big Bear Camping Pineknot

Question: Would you camp at Pineknot Campground in Big Bear, CA?
pros-cons.
Answer: Yes I would it’s centrally located to big bear, the proximity to the ski lift is fantastic for hiking and mountain biking you take the lift up and hike or bike down. If you don’t feel like cooking your within walking distance of some of the best eateries in town.
The only negatives are no showers, a long walk to the lake if you want to fish and the difficulty of getting reservations, and for some a bit to close to town.
My favorite Campground in the valley is Serrano
